Introducing Tutti Fruity
When we decided to design a "fruit" set we weren't exactly sure what form it would take. There is a lot of different ways to draw a fruit. The fruit in my mind were more graphic and fun, and so I just went to town on this set and guess what...I think this one of my favorite sets ever! It includes an apple, cherries, pear, strawberry, and a citrus slice that you can design yourself with the four different inside segments or slices (for an example of how to build your own slice visit this post.) I had so much fun playing with these stamps that I couldn't put them down.
I mentioned that we are releasing a lot of sets that would work really well for Valentine's Day. This is one of those sets. Wouldn't either of these cards make a great Valentine? The sentiments are perfect for that...I think they would be great for kids Valentine's too because they aren't too...um....mushy for school. Ha ha! I can see my son giving out a bunch of strawberry cards to his classmates with some strawberry-flavored candy inside. Yum.
Other products used in the samples above: October Afternoon "County Library" patterned paper (pear card), My Mind's Eye "Cute" tiny dots patterned paper (strawberry card), Martha Stewart border punch.
We've been talking about designing a new baby set for quite awhile, and I'm excited to announce that the stork has delivered! The images and sentiments in this set were inspired by children's songs, nursery rhymes, and stories. Who says there isn't such thing as a pink spotted cow?! I used some pink Shimmerz paint on the cow's spots to add some extra sparkle. So pink and girlie! Star light, star bright...I wish for my baby to sleep through the night.... That one is for all you sleep-deprived new Mom's out there! :) Other products used on the samples above: Polka-dot patterned paper by 7 gypsies, Nestabilities Labels One die, square and scallop square punches, Pink Shimmerz paint.
