Jeni's Sketchbook Picks!

Good afternoon everyone! I'm excited to share with you some of the fun that I've found in the Sketchbook tihs week! Wow, there are a lot of fun projects there! Keep them coming, I found a lot of projects and cards athat really inspired me, so yes, keep posting them!!

This first card is from Taylor, and I love it! I love the color combination...and a great layout!

 

This next card has Tiffany written all over it!? Don't you agree!? I love this little image from the February Mix,Singing in the Rain! I love the combination of paper she used and think this little chic would brighten many a day!!

  

Kendra made this great bookmark! How fun is that!? And I love the colors...so fresh and cheerful! I love the staging she did as well..Little Women is one of my favorites! Wouldn't it make you happy to have a bookmark like this, instead of a scrap of paper or a receipt or something like that!(Or am I alone in having crazy bookmarks!?) This image is also in the February Mix.
  
How about  another Februrary Mix image--(yes, if you can't tell, you do NEED the mix, it is wonderful. They are all wonderful and just keep getting better!)--that I love! I love the paper that Maren used for this card...very soft and pretty colors! And if you know me, you know I'm a sucker for Chocolate Brown anything!

Deb is the newest member of our Design Team and has added a great touch to the group! I love the colors and paper she used for this card. I think this is also a fun layout, very user friendly! And come on, isn't that one of the greatest sentiments ever!?

Back from CHA!

Hi everyone! We are back from CHA and we had a blast! We had the chance to meet so many wonderful people while there. It was nice to put some faces to some names! We've got some pictures to share with you of our fun weekend...

Day 1- First of all, we live in the west/west coast and decided to drive all of our inventory and everything we needed for our booth down. We were packed to the seams! I was so amazed we fit everything we did into the car.

Day 2 - which was day 1 of the Supershow, we got together with some of our design team girls for a yummy breakfast at the Storyteller's cafe. While there, we visited with the woodland animals.

Weekly Sketch Challenge

Hi everyone! This week's sketch will have you thinking outside the box. The twist this week is to use anything other than a square or rectangular card base. For the sketch and sample, I used a circle but you could also use stars, hearts, easter eggs, flowers....really anything you can dream up!

Can't wait to see what you create!

Taylor's Picks of the Week

Good Morning Everyone! It's Taylor here. I've been on a birthday card making spree so that I have a good stack of them piled up - that way no one's birthday can sneak up on me! I browsed through the sketchbook to find some fabulous birthday creations to inspire me, and thought I'd share them with everyone!

This sweet little birthday box is from Katie Ellsworth. Isn't that ribbon treatment fantastic? She used the Party Animals set.

This yummy card was done by Maria Levine, and she used the Cupcake single. They look good enough to eat!

This is one of Maren Benedict's fantastic creations. She used Sweets and Treats to make this simple, striking birthday card.

Here is one Josyln Neilsen made, again using Party Animals. I love the simplicity of this one - so fun!

This beachy birthday card was made by Jeanne Streiff. I love the different colors she used on this - not traditional for a birthday card but perfect with the Shore Thoughts set!

This last card was designed by Michelle Boyer and uses High Hellos . The colors are so bright and cheery!

Enjoy the Ride

  

 These two beautiful cards that Kendra and Maren made with an image from the February Monthly Mix, Singing in the Rain, is perfect for today's post.

That ferris wheel is an actual photograph that was taken by Joslyn at Disney's California Adventure! Many of you have seen it I'm sure. And the reason that it's so appropriate is that we are headed out the door to go to Anaheim for CHA this very week!

I'm not sure we'll have time to ride the ferris wheel. But we'll definitely be "Enjoying the Ride" at the show. It's going to be fun. If you are headed to the Craft SuperShow on Friday or Saturday, make sure to come see us in booth #504 and introduce yourself! We love meeting Lizzie Anne fans.

We'll be posting picts from the show later this week...

I based this week's sketch challenge on the Design Team Challenge card I made. I had a lot of layers on that card so I had to choose the shapes I thought were most important! Feel free to add layers and lots of "stuff" to your card like I did...consider this your extra challenge. ;)

Valentine Inspiration

Kim Reid created this amazing card using L'Amour.  Perfectly designed! 

I just LOVE the pink & black combo that Rose Ann used for this 'lovely' card.  AND she used one of my all time favorite sets-- So Much Love.

Ahh...I just ADORE Joslyn's style.  Look what magic she created with the January Monthly Mix:  From the Heart.

Lovin' Those Rockstars!

Our Design Team Rockstars have been creating a lot of Valentine's Day / Love- themed projects the past week and have been using a lot of our new stamps too. It's time to show some of them off! Here's a sampling...

 

Oh pretty princess...perfect for a little girls class valentine's.  Both Kendra and Taylor used A Little Love stamp set and digital paper pack for these two cards.
