Guest Rockstar Stamper!

We're pleased to introduce to you our second Guest Rockstar Stamper... Sunghee! You can find her blog here...

Sunghee chose our A Little Love Sixlets set to play with for her Guest Rockstar samples, and she's also a member of our Monthly Mix Club she she threw a little Mix love in there too. Let's begin shall we?

This is an adorable chipboard princess album decorated with our valentine princess. I believe that is our A Little Love digital paper adorning the castle too. When my two-year-old daughter saw this photo she said "Ooooooooooooooooooh, princess!" I couldn't agree more.

And inside another little princess meets our princess!

I LOVE this rocket Valentine's Day box...especially how Sunghee popped-up the rocket...

 
  
 

I had to ask Sunghee how she made the grass/turf for this soccer ball card. It's a pom-pom cut in half! Ha ha!  Very creative.

This tree bird project features the "heart sprouts" image from the January Monthly Mix set.  This is just my style..I love the texture and layering and shabby-chic look to this project. And the stitching! Note the little red brad she used in the "o" in the word Love. Little touches go a long way!

 

 

This next project will make you drool. It's a handmade Valentine's heart box holding ribbon sucker roses and a pearl necklace! This would be so fun to make for a friend. Sunghee used the little candy hearts image in red and paired it with black and white. One of my favorite color combinations.

Guest Rockstar Stamper - Christi Milliken!

Today we are excited to present to you our first Guest Rockstar Stamper... Christi Milliken! Christi participated in our 100th Sketch Challenge and her card caught our eye...thus she accepted our new challenge to create some cards for us with a stamp set of her choice. The set she chose is one of our favorite floral sets...Le Jardin. She paired this stamp set with several LAD sentiments from other sets.

It's a true sign of creativity when you can take one image and turn it into something else! On this card, Christi used the leaf stamp and made a Fall wreath! Gorgeous. And look at the cute window she made! I can think of ways to use this design for a Christmas card too...I may have to borrow this idea!

One of the things I love about Christi's creations is all the layers and stitching on her cards. I tend to gravitate toward two types of cards...either really simple, or really detailed with lots of stuff. Christi's cards really appeal to my detailed, lots-of-stuff side! After looking at her stitching, I decided I needed a sewing machine for my cards and I went and bought one (true story.)

 

Next up, this elegant embossed birthday card.  She embossed on vellum and cut out the flowers. Note the embossed flowers in the background too. Again, so much detail!

More creative thinking...Christi used one of the flowers in the set to make a Christmas Poinsettia card! I love how she layered the flowers to create a 3-D effect. Ooooh and they have glitter too!

 

This is such a cute card...I love all the elements and patterned paper and ribbon she chose to go with the flowers. And the hand-made flower stem! More stitching and layers...love it.

A lovely Thank You card. I love cards that stamp in three's...in this case, the three little flowers in a row is so simple, yet lovely. And I love the big bow too.
